Chief of Staff

Heather Wyatt began her tenure as Chief of Staff at Memorial Park Conservancy (MPC) in August 2025. In this role, she plays a key part in advancing the organization’s strategic and master plan, working on policies and procedures, collaborating on capital projects, managing risk and inter-agency partnerships, and supporting board governance initiatives.

She joined MPC following a decade-long career in the higher education sector within collegiate athletics, where she developed expertise in aligning vision with execution on national, conference, and institutional stages. Most recently, she oversaw compliance, academics, student-athlete welfare, and internal operations at Abilene Christian University, serving 17 Division I athletics programs and 375 student-athletes.

Heather earned her B.S. in Government (Politics & Policy) and M.S. in Sport Management (Sport Administration) from Liberty University. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the EdD Organizational Leadership (Positive Leadership) program at Abilene Christian University with anticipated completion in December 2025.

Outside of her professional life, Heather enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, playing disc golf, and experiencing cultural events – often accompanied by her Aussiedoodle, Skye.
